Electrical Engineering

This course is designed to covers the knowledge, skill and attitude required for welding in different industrial sector.. This course has three competencies such as Basic, Common and Core competencies. The core competency covers skills and attitudes required to Perform Arc Welding, Arc cutting.Oxy-Acetylene gas Welding & cutting, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding &Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding.

Objectives :

  1. To develop skill manpower
  2. To develop socio-economic condition of the people
  3. To create employment opportunities
  4. To earn foreign currency
  5. To provide basic knowledge, skills & attitude on welding & fabrication
  6. To develop skills to perform arc welding & cutting,oxy-acetylene gas welding & cutting, metal inert gas (MIG) & tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding

Course Outline :

Duration of Course

Total 360 hrs

6 days week, per day 3hrs

Theory = 60 hrs

Theory=1 hrs, per lesson

Practical = 240 hrs

Practical=2 hrs, per lesson

Basic & Common

Competency = 60hrs

Total=3 hrs, per working day

Entry Qualification :

Class Eight ,JSC,JDC or equivalent
